Don Watson was born in London. He and his wife, Jean, lived in Surrey for most of their lives but following Don's retirement moved to Fleet in 1997 where they have lived happily ever since.
Don was employed throughout his working life in the legal profession in Central London and now enjoys his retirement among various relatives and old and new friends. He joined Probus Club at the latter end of 1997 and was President in 2002 / 03. Currently he is Ladies' Lunches Secretary.
Don and Jean are also enthusiastic members of Fleet & District U3A and he is a group leader involved in organising day trips and short breaks in both the UK and overseas for members of that organisation.
